Jill Robi is a writer, speaker and film journalist from Chicago. An active geek, she won a season of AMC’s Talking Dead’s Ultimate Fan Contest with her reigning cosplay as Michonne as well as the fan gameshow Hollywood Game Night with Jane Lynch.

Jill is also a movie aficionado, panelist & moderator, and proud mom. A published author, one of her favorite things about storytelling are deep dive character studies that show the intricacies of humanity.

As a freelancer, she writes essays and articles  across various platforms, including Glamour, Huffington Post, Bustle, Stylecaster, and more.

Currently, Jill is working on a feature, a smattering of other written works.  Though she favors pop-fic and chick lit, Jill also likes to write poetry, noir, and sci-fi/fantasy. She writes first and foremost for her own entertainment.  She hopes that by sharing her work with the world, she can also achieve the entertainment and enjoyment of others as well.
